If you decide to come to my class you will do a Vinyasa Yoga or BoxingYoga™ class.

WHAT DOES VINYASA YOGA MEAN?
Vinyasa Yoga synchronises the movements with the breath. Vinyasa is a smooth and fluid form of yoga, where with the help of your inhale and exhale you will move from one posture to the other. Vinyasa is a very popular form of yoga, great for both beginners and advanced students. Since it is a very popular form of yoga, it will be taught differently by various teachers.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU COME TO MY VINYASA CLASS?
My classes are powerful and relaxing at the same time. It is built up carefully, both physically and mentally. Each class is introduced with a theme, which discusses a part of the yoga philosophy. Physically we will start by warming up the body, followed by a fluid and powerful sequence of standing-, seated-, and balance postures. The class is closed off with a cool down and a breathing exercise.

The classes will strengthen the body, increase flexibility and bring an overall balance & better health. It steadies the mind through focusing on the breath, which makes you feel calm and focused. Depending on your personal needs, we will work on specific parts of the body and the mind to ensure your personal growth.

 

WHAT DOES BOXINGYOGA™ MEAN?
A BoxingYoga™ class merges boxing technique with traditional and innovative yoga postures in a 60-minute class format. The four stages of the class are performed in one continuous movement sequence to music, with intensity adapted to participant’s needs and ability.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
BoxingYoga™ is designed with boxers in mind, but anyone who does a fight sport, is an athlete, or likes to be challenged is welcome. We train a wide variety of people from MMA fighters and boxers, to runners, cyclists, office workers and yogi’s. BoxingYoga™ is fun, challenging and a strong workout.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BOXINGYOGA™?
BoxingYoga™ methodically strengthens and stretches the entire body and offers fighters a considered approach to explore coordination, body awareness and correct posture alignment. As a result, BoxingYoga™ helps to drastically shorten recovery time and cultivates relaxation and muscular tension release. These are important factors in order to prevent injuries and optimise a healthy body and mind-set.

To maximise performance, BoxingYoga™ focuses on utilising the whole body in a kinetic chain reaction with the power of the core and spiral dynamics of the spine. BoxingYoga™ looks at the whole pattern of movement in the musculoskeletal system and offers multi-stretching exercises in sequences, thus providing a routine for developing whole-body flexibility.

Beyond the physical practice, BoxingYoga™ helps fighters to remain calm and focussed, to manage their emotions and develop instinctive and intelligent reactions under stressful conditions.
